Facilities in the garden
Native Place invites you to make the most of the stunning views and enjoy the outdoors. It offers a variety of inviting hangout areas for you to lounge about in solitude, or amongst friends. Enjoy the quiet places curled up with a book, or revel in the vibrant interactive areas where you can meet interesting people. The rooms have no AC, no TV, nor phones, no room service and no newspapers.
What we offer you is the chance to take residence in this earthy guesthouse and enjoy simplicity at its best. We encourage you to step out and imbibe the natural beauty and serene atmosphere as you sample the many individual spaces we have created for you to unwind in and get comfortable with yourself in this laidback world.
The hills here are ancient and have witnessed a wide range of travelers - Greeks from the 2nd century BC, Chinese of the
7th century AD and Paragliding pilots of the new Millennium.

Paragliding Sites

Paragliding Sites

The paragliding sites (Shelar and Tower Hill) are between 10 and 15 kilometres away from Native Place. Experience the thrill of flying like a bird with Nirvana Adventures. You can check with our staff at the guesthouse about tandem rides (it is a half-day activity).

karla caves

Drive to this site of the largest Chaitya caves in India, which was built in 80 BC. Amongst the best preserved Buddhist temples in India, they represent the zenith in terms of design purity of this style of temple architecture (it is a half-day activity).

Bhaja Caves are located at the foot of the Lohaghad and Visapur forts. Built in the same period as Karla they house some fine sculptures. You can combine this visit with Karla if you are looking to spend the whole day out (it is a half-day activity).

These caves belong to slightly later period than those at Bhaja, and have walls decorated with inscriptions of ancient texts and pictures. Its remote location, away from the line of communications, makes it a spot for the more adventurous (it is a half-day activity).

An hour’s drive away from Native Place, a little stone temple sits quietly in the wilderness. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the plains below where a troika of waterfalls can be seen during monsoon (it is a half-day activity).
